Flagstaff Mayor Becky Daggett is a decisive problem-solver who is skilled at building consensus and cultivating trust and respect. With an awareness that real change requires contrasting perspectives at the table, she is an effective and confident leader who actively invites all voices and ideas into municipal decision-making.
Mayor Daggett has helped to foster a diplomatic environment at Flagstaff City Hall, where she welcomes and encourages different opinions, ideas and concerns. Her extensive community outreach ensures the public is included in the decision-making process and has ample opportunities to share feedback with councilmembers.
Whether it’s at a City Council meeting, a community gathering, or at our state and national capitols, Flagstaff residents will find Mayor Daggett passionately advocating for their needs. The relationships she’s built have elevated the stature of Flagstaff, and have helped to bring increased attention and funding for critical projects from both state and federal levels.
Mayor Daggett was elected as Flagstaff’s Vice Mayor in 2020 and Mayor in 2022. The term is two years and she’s currently running for re-election.
