Mayor Daggett has consistently demonstrated a deep and overwhelming commitment to the safety and well-being of the Local 1505 Firefighters as they serve the City of Flagstaff. Her efforts have been instrumental in enhancing our working conditions, from advocating for essential equipment purchases to prioritizing the mental health of our members. Her support has not only ensured that we are set up for success when performing our duties effectively but also that our physical and mental health needs are addressed.  She has been vocal with city leadership about the availability for our members to access the Redemption Counseling Center to address some of the mental health challenges that first responders may encounter.

Becky cares deeply about our community and the many things that make it a special place to live. As Becky’s colleague and friend, I have seen firsthand the tremendous work ethic, leadership, and kindness that she brings to all that she does. I have no doubt that she will serve as Mayor with integrity and steer us towards a bright and sustainable future.

Becky gets things done, something I’ve known since the late 1990s when I read the Arizona Daily Sun online from my home in Wisconsin. I was always impressed with Becky when I’d read about an accomplishment or a quote from her in a story. My wife and I then moved to Flagstaff and I saw firsthand the impact Becky has had on this community. Now I’m fortunate to work with Becky on the High Country Humane Board of Directors and I admire her creativity, work ethic, and her commitment to our community. I’ve served on many nonprofit boards and am involved with a number of community endeavors, and I see that Becky’s unique and thoughtful perspective, depth of subject matter knowledge, and devotion to our community make her someone you want to have on your team.

Becky is eminently qualified to serve Flagstaff as our Mayor. She is smart, a good communicator, but most importantly, she has contributed to a better Flagstaff over the last 25 years. She was a successful director of a grassroots organization dedicated to good, managed growth and open spaces; she has worked for the city; and she served as the head of a respected local charter school. Becky knows and loves Flagstaff and can make the difficult decisions with an informed background and a vision of a model mountain town.

I’ve known Becky for about 12 years. Seeing her work and volunteer for so many nonprofits, serve on boards, run a school, and raise money for good causes…..I know she would be the best Mayor. I love how she gives you her 100% attention and listens. She is easy to work with and a true team player! I can’t wait to see what’s next in store for her!

I had the good fortune to work with Becky as she was transitioning from being the Executive Director of Friends of Flagstaff’s Future to working as the Business Retention and Expansion Manager for the City of Flagstaff. I was impressed with not only her approachability, but her knowledge of Flagstaff, its citizens and its issues. Becky is a person who lives by her values. She is an active, insightful, and hardworking Mayor. 

Becky is a bright light in a community of strong leaders. She listens deeply to people, understands our issues in Flagstaff, and tirelessly works to make things better for all of us. 

I have gotten to know Becky through serving on the board of High Country Humane with her. Becky is a great collaborator and listens to all sides of an issue prior to giving her opinion. It is hard to find people that truly listen. That is Becky. She really cares about Flagstaff and that’s why I am supporting her for Mayor.

I have admired Becky’s community involvement and drive for over 20 years. Her varied involvement in many important activities and organizations bring a deep understanding of Flagstaff and its workings, and the significant time and energy she has invested show her deep commitment to this place she calls home.

I have known Becky (or known OF Becky) for most of my 22 years in Flagstaff. She has the perspective of almost a lifetime in this community as she examines the issues that matter the most to many of us. Her experience in our schools, nonprofits, the Stop Dark Money campaign, economic development, as Vice-Mayor, and now Mayor illustrates her commitment and experience. Her values align with mine and so many of us in Flagstaff. When Becky sits on the dais, she is there to work hard and listen to the community.  She is experienced, focused, and authentic. Becky Daggett is the leadership we need to guide us through the complex issues of our times. She unites the City Council and provides the leadership necessary to move Flagstaff forward. VOTE BECKY!

I’d like to heartily endorse Becky in her re-election bid for Flagstaff Mayor! Having known Becky for many years and watched her lead several organizations to success, I’m confident in her ability to serve the citizens of Flagstaff with intelligence, thoughtfulness, and integrity. Becky loves Flagstaff passionately and brings that passion to her work as our Mayor.

One glance at Becky’s impressive list of work and volunteer activities over the past 20+ years tells you all you need to know about why we originally supported this talented, creative, energetic woman for City Council. She has always shown exceptional integrity, perseverance, compassion… and heart. Now she has added effective experience on the Council as our Vice Mayor to her impressive record in business development, community action, environmental and charitable projects and the arts. Becky consistently demonstrates an obvious commitment to improving our community for all of us (including our four-legged friends!). She’s a strong, effective, knowledgeable leader and we wholeheartedly endorse her.

I met Becky when she was Executive Director of the Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy (FALA) where she demonstrated extraordinary skill as a leader, fostering the school’s growth and providing the organization and leadership necessary for a smooth relocation to a new campus. I know Becky also as an active volunteer at Theatrikos, giving countless hours of her time because she values the arts. Becky is also a trusted friend who showed up with groceries and flowers and words of love during a time of grief for my family. Becky is not only an organizer of people, she is also a champion for the people as well as an unwavering advocate for animals and the environment. I trust Becky implicitly to lead Flagstaff as Mayor with vision, integrity, and passion.

I have known Becky for years and most closely worked with her at the Flagstaff Arts Council when she served as interim director. Her leadership style is thoughtful, informed and deliberate. Becky is one of the most hardworking and dedicated individuals I know. Once she sets her mind to something, watch out, as she will work tirelessly to benefit the people (or animals!) impacted by her work. It is Becky’s time to shine as the leader this city needs, serving as the Mayor of Flagstaff! I support Becky Daggett for Mayor!

Becky is a long-time Flagstaff community member who is focused on preserving Flagstaff’s small town charm while understanding growth and change can happen in a thoughtful, intentional, sustainable way. She understands the importance of listening to and working with long-time locals while ensuring our short-term and university populations have the same welcoming experience and opportunity in the community. She is compassionate, level-headed, approachable, and downright funny! I have no hesitation in fully endorsing Becky Daggett for Mayor.
